Doll Maker's Project Journal

Through the years, I have tried many ways to keep records of the dolls I make. A basic form provides space for a description of the doll, materials, and cost. I wanted more.

I have designed a form that also tracts resources, time invested, and profit. At a glance, see the name, size and type of the doll, as well as the purchaser. Finally, I added a place for the designer, if the design was changed, and what would change if it were made again.

The form can be used in two ways. You may choose to place your photo and fabric samples facing the form or you may choose to place them on the back of the form. Number the form and record it on the pages in the front of the book. There is also a page for your favorite doll making resources.

Doll Makers and Designers will love this Project Journal. The book format is much better for organization, storage and travel than a loose file.  It makes a perfect portfolio of your work.  Try using a separate Journal for each type of doll you make.. For example, you might use one book just for Mermaids and another for Faeries. The Doll Maker's Journal is a fantastic way to keep records for every doll you make. It makes a great gift for the Doll Maker in your life.

I hope you enjoy the Doll Maker’s Project Journal. I dedicate it to all the special and beautiful people who create dolls.

If you cannot find Doll Maker's Project Journal in the language you need, please contact me and I will translate it.
